Random Thoughts and Friends

Ok. Here’s the deal. I got news on Sunday that definitely answered one of those life questions. It sucks, but it is what it is. I don’t know what to write about it without mentioning names or going into detail, so I’m not saying much of anything. I’m not good at summarizations, just know it happened.

I did, however, go to Ruston yesterday and got to hang out with LB like all day. This was planned before Sunday, but the timing could not have been more perfect. We’d wanted to get together for a while. Life is rapidly changing for both of us. She didn’t even know of my experience in Chicago from December, just that I went. We haven’t really talked since November, which seems insane and like a lifetime ago for both of us. When you see someone everyday of your life for two years and then they’re out of your life as a daily presence overnight, it’s weird. It was so good to catch up with her and I know she felt the same way.

I have plans to hang out with Kimmy on Friday, so that should be fun as well.

I hope to go see A Separation at the Robinson either today or tomorrow. Heather saw it and said I would like it, plus it’s in Farsi which is totally awesome. When she asked me if I’d seen it and I told her I hadn’t, she said “I always assume you've already seen every foreign film or would love to see it.” I feel like this is a common sentiment amongst most of my friends. Haha!

I had a job interview on Monday that I bombed. That was fun.

I didn’t break the fourth wall in this post.
